We are pleased to announce that our annual Stampede Breakfast will take place on Sunday July 5. Hello Priddis,

March has arrived and we have lots of exciting programs, events and announcements to share with you.

First of all, we are thrilled to announce that our grant application to the Daryl K Seaman Canadian Hockey Fund at the Calgary Foundation was successful. The $50 000 will be used for much needed rink repairs. Thank you to the Calgary Foundation for their continued support of amateur sports and the Priddis Community.

Upcoming Events:

We hope you will join us at the Priddis Community Hall on March 14 for our St Patrick's Day Social. This 18+ event starts at 7:30pm and is free for community members and their guests. In addition to having a chance to visit with friends and neighbours new and old, we will have great music, dancing and Karaoke hosted by Jamie Serafi. We will also be offering a bar (wine, coolers, beer) and a concession with charcuterie and snacks. Cash and card will be accepted for food and drink purchases. We hope to see you there!

Save the date- our much loved community Garage Sale is back for another year. Donated items can be dropped off on Friday May 8 and shopping takes place on Saturday May 9. All proceeds from this event help the PCA to maintain our community amenities and continue to offer programs and events for our members.  If you are interested in volunteering at this event, please reach out to Arlene at aljelfs@googlemail.com

Current Programs:

Community Playgroup is back this March. Join us in our preschool room (enter through the NW door and head downstairs) on Wednesday mornings at 9:30am for playtime, connection and conversation. This parented program is free for PCA members.

A new session of Community Yoga is starting next week and there are still a few spaces left. Classes happen at the Priddis Hall from 7:30-8:30pm on Mondays and Thursdays. One or two day per week registration options available. These classes are suitable for all levels and modifications will be presented as needed. Email lorichinnery@heartomwellness.com for more information or to register.
