November Update
Hello Priddis,
As the days get shorter and cooler, why not try out one of these fabulous programs or attend one of our great events close to home?
Line Dancing:
Mondays from 5:30-6:30 in November. We'll be dancing to a mix of country music, from classic favourites to newer hits. Expect a relaxed, welcoming environment where you can learn at your own pace. Pricing:- Full November session (5 classes): $75 - Drop-in: $20 per class. Email carlingrees@gmail.com for more information or to register.
Community Craft Circle:
We are pleased to have Sparrow and James Flower Flower Co. facilitating a community craft circle this Fall. Each class is $30/person and includes all supplies and tools, coffee/hot chocolate/tea and expert instruction. Ages 10+. Younger kids are welcome with a parent.
Friday November 6 from 6:30-8:00pm: Lucky Horseshoe
Sunday November 22 from 3:30-5pm: Full Moon Wreath

Yoga:
Our popular community yoga program is continuing for another session. Join the class on Mondays and/or Thursdays at 7:30pm from November 2- December 17. All levels are welcome and participants can choose to join one or two days a week. Pricing- Full session $280, One day per week $175, Drop in $25/class. Martial Arts:
Youth martial arts is returning to the Priddis hall on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm in November. Suitable for all levels, this is a great program for kids close to home. For more information or to register, please email yus84635@gmail.com
Playgroup:
Parented playgroup takes place at 9:30am on Tuesdays in the preschool room. Join other parents and little ones for a fun morning. This drop in program is free for PCA members.
Indoor Pickleball:
Our indoor pickleball court is now open for the season! For November and December it will be open on Sundays and Tuesdays from 11am-3pm. Users must book their space in advance by following these steps:
Log into your Communal member account
Click “Facilities”
Click “Create Booking”
Choose “Indoor Pickleball”
Members will be able to see slots up to 1 week in advance and make a 1 hour reservation. A booking confirmation will be sent to the email on file and will include a lockbox access code to get into the hall during your reservation. It is the member’s responsibility to return the key and lock the door after their reservations. Any issues can be reported to priddisalberta@gmail.com
Library:
Did you know that we have our very own library in the community? Located in the Old School House, our library is part of the Marigold system and is entirely run by volunteers. Stop by on Tuesday or Thursday from 2-4pm or Saturdays from 10-noon to find your next great read.
Remembrance Day Ceremony:
You are invited to join our neighbours in Bragg Creek for their annual Remembrance Day ceremony. The short ceremony takes place outdoors at the Community Centre and starts at 10:30am. Coffee and light lunch to follow. Please consider bringing a monetary donation or non perishable food item for the Veterans Food Bank.
Christmas Market:
Back for a 3rd year, our Christmas market will take place on Saturday November 28 from 10-2pm. Shop local this holiday season from over 30 specially curated vendors. We will also have a concession with great breakfast and lunch choices along with Baileys and coffee to enjoy when you shop. The best part? Entry is totally free!
