September Update

We have had a busy summer at the hall and are back in full swing now that fall is upon us. Here is an update on things to come before 2023:

Priddis Panthers Hockey

Registration for the 2022/23 season is now live. Space is filling up fast. If you have a kid that is interested in playing, please register here: Registration

If you are new to hockey and require a Hockey Canada Number or have any questions, please email Priddis Hockey.

Priddis General Manager

With the increasing hours on volunteer board positions, this style of organization has become unsustainable. The PCA is proposing the addition of a general manager at the hall. For the community, this will mean more programs, events, community gatherings and social connections! At the end of September, the board will meet to finalize the details around hiring. In October, we will host another meeting where community members are welcome to attend and have a say in this transition. Membership Renewal

2021/22 Memberships expire October 31st. If you have not already done so, please visit: Memberships Signing up for auto-renew will streamline this process for the years to come. If you have already registered for Panthers Hockey, your membership is included in registration.

Fall Supper

  • Fall Supper returns November 4th, 2022! Tickets are only being sold in advance due to this being a catered meal. This is an incredibly popular event with just 125 tickets available. Ticket purchases can be made here: Events

  • Purchase or renew your membership to receive a discount for this event.

  • Volunteers and a volunteer coordinator are needed to make this event possible. Please reach out to Priddis President if you are able to help. Volunteers receive a free dinner.

  • If you have volunteered for the PCA in 2022, and haven't received a gift from us, please contact priddispresident@gmail.com as we would like to say THANK YOU with a complimentary ticket to Fall Supper.

Tennis Courts

The ever deteriorating surface conditions have become a liability concern. The good news is that the board has begun the process of applying for grants and raising funds to resurface the courts. If you are passionate about bringing this amenity back to life then we would love to hear from you. This is a large project that could use help in procuring funds.

Annual General Meeting

Please join us at the Community Hall on December 15th at 7pm to hear about all that the Priddis Community Association achieved in 2021/22. More importantly, you will hear about the upcoming excitement in 2023.

Board Volunteers

If you are interested in giving back to the community by volunteering on the board of directors, we encourage you to reach out. Let us know your skill set and we will find you a role.

If you have any questions or friendly feedback, you can always reach out to Priddis President. To make this community the best that it can be, suggestions and volunteerism are highly encouraged.
