March Update

Hello Priddis, March has arrived and we have lots of exciting programs, events and announcements to share with you. First of all, we are thrilled to announce that our grant application to the Daryl K Seaman Canadian Hockey Fund at the Calgary Foundation was successful. The $50 000 will be used for much needed rink repairs. Thank you to the Calgary Foundation for their continued support of amateur sports and the Priddis Community. Happy February PCA Members! We wanted to start by thanking everyone who came out to our Annual Shinny Tournament on January 31. Fun was had by all and money was raised for the upkeep of our beloved rink. Congratulations to the winning team and thank you to all of our Sponsors (Aqua Mule, Chaulk Realty, Ts and Trees) and Volunteers. We are looking forward to next year already! We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season with those they love. As we head into January, the Priddis Panthers will begin practicing and hosting games on their home rink. Please make sure to check our website ( www.priddisalberta.com ) and follow us on social media for up to date rink schedules that show when community skating is permitted and when the rink is reserved for Panthers’ practices, community shinny and Panthers games. Hello Priddis! As November arrives and the temperatures get cooler, anticipation begins to build for the opening of our outdoor rink . Be sure to follow us on social media as that is the best way to get updates on the rink status. Once we have an expected opening date, we will provide this winter’s rink schedule for our community members. Just a reminder that all rink users must have a PCA membership.
