Hello Priddis! There are a number of items that the board is working diligently towards in an attempt to ready ourselves for the summer break. Please reach out to priddispresident@gmail.com if you have any questions or comments:

  • Priddis Preschool and summer camps, both hosted by Rediscover Play, are open for registration. Visit Rediscover Play’s website for more details and registration. Summer camp spots are filling up fast!

  • Playing Card/Game Night will be hosted on May 30th and June 15th, 7-9pm. We plan to have tables set up in the hall and residents can bring any game they want to share. Both evenings will be a by-donation event with snacks available for purchase. Please BYO drinks and positive attitude!

  • Stampede Breakfast is quickly approaching on July 9th. Breakfast will be served from 8am-12pm with tickets available at the door. Please come early as each year this event sells out. Tickets are $5 for ages 7+, and kids are free with the purchase of an adult meal. We are looking for a number of volunteers to help. If you are able, please sign up here. All volunteers will receive a free breakfast as well as a warm, fuzzy feeling in their heart.

  • Priddis Panthers are looking for a new director to join the PCA board. After serving a three year term, Kyle McGill will be stepping down. We cannot thank Kyle enough for his efforts in running the program. If you would like more information on this position, please reach out to priddishockey@gmail.com.

  • The Board of Directors are on the search for an Executive Director to join our amazing team. This is a paid opportunity. For further details, and to apply to the position, please visit Indeed.

Please be advised that the next board meeting will be held off-site. Any members hoping to attend the meeting, please reach out to our president for more information.

Happy Spring from the Priddis Community Association! Look what is happening this month at the hall:

  • Kids’ Clothing & Toy Swap is this Saturday, April 15th, from 11a-3p. Donations can still be coordinated with Leah (spruceandpinehome@gmail.com). Those that donate can shop for free. A small cash entrance fee is available for anyone not providing a donation and wishes to shop. All funds raised will go towards the PCA and its various events/programs.

  • Who doesn’t love an adult night out with live music?! Pocket Dial will be rocking the hall on April 22nd with their covers of 80s & 90s alternative music. Doors open at 7:30pm. All funds raised will go directly to the tennis/pickleball court resurfacing project. For tickets, visit pca.getcommunal.com to pay via credit card or stop by the Priddis General Store to purchase via cash.Tickets will be available at the door if the event does not sell out beforehand. Anyone signed up to volunteer will receive free admission.

Priddis Garage Sale is back again this year on May 13th from 9am-12pm. Donations will be accepted at the hall on May 12th from 9am onward. Our amazing event coordinator, Arlene Jelfs, cannot run this on her own and needs volunteers to ensure this is a success. Please email priddispresident@gmail.com to be connected with Arlene.

Greetings from the Priddis Community Association. Here is what is happening in the coming weeks:

  • Pickleball continues in the hall each Thursday. 1-3pm, 3-5pm, 5-7pm are the available times and can accommodate 4-5 people per time slot. Drop-in fees ($5 for members, $10 for non-members) are payable in cash to the donation box at the hall. The board is looking at utilizing an app called TeamSnap to try to coordinate drop-ins. If you would like to be added to this email list, please contact pcahallrentals@gmail.com.

  • March 18th is Family Movie Night at the hall. Doors open at 5:30 with curtain at 6:00pm. Admission is free courtesy of Meota Gas Co-op and their generous donation to our community. If you wish, bring something comfortable to sit on as we watch ‘Homeward Bound’. Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase so please bring cash.

  • Kids’ Clothing & Toy Swap is back on April 15th, 11a-3p at the hall. Please contact Leah (spruceandpinehome@gmail.com) if you would like to donate items to the swap. If you do not donate, you can still shop for a small cash fee.

  • The PCA is incredibly excited to bring Pocket Dial to the hall for an evening of live music and dancing. Doors open at 7:30pm with refreshments available for purchase by cash. All proceeds go towards the refurbishment of the community tennis/pickleball courts. Tickets can be purchased, beginning March 17th, either online using a credit card: pca.getcommunal.com/parent_programs, or in cash at the Priddis General Store. This event will sell out so purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

The PCA would like to extend a big thank you to all of the volunteers that made the hockey season a success. Did you know that there are hundreds of volunteer hours that go into planning and execution of the season, as well as maintaining the ice? Not one person holds a paid position within Panther’s. Congratulations, everyone, on another successful season!
